1- SÜMELA MONASTERY ( SÜMELA MANASTIRI )

 The Sümela Monastery (Greek: Μονή Σουμελά, Turkish: Sümela Manastırı) stands at the foot of a steep
cliff facing the Altındere valley in the region of Maçka in Trabzon Province, Turkey.


2- EPHESUS ( Virgin Mary - Mother of Jesus )

Ephesus is the best-preserved Roman city in the Mediterranean region, and Turkey's top sight after Istanbul, but the Ephesus archeological site is not the only reason to visit this region.


3- BALIKLI GÖL - URFA ( Urfa Lake with Fish )


Urfa Lake with fish locally known as Balıklı Göl is accepted as a holy site for muslims. It’s believed that for one of the prophets, Hz. İbrahim a big fire was made and wanted to be killed in this fire. But all of a sudden, the fire was turned into a big lake and the wood to the fish. And until now, they’ve been believed to be holy and nobody catches those fish.





4- ASPENDOS

Aspendos was an ancient city in Pamphylia, Asia Minor, located about 25 miles (40 km) east of the modern city of Antalya, Turkey. It was situated on the Eurymedon River about 10 miles (16 km) inland from the Mediterranean Sea.






5- PAMUKKALE ( meaning "Cotton Castle" in Turkish )

 









Pamukkale, 19 km (12 miles) north of Denizli (map), is Turkey's foremost mineral-bath spa because of its natural beauty: hot calcium-laden water spring from the earth and cascade over a cliff.


7- CAPPADOCIA ( KAPADOKYA )

Cappadocia ( in Turkish Kapadokya) is a region in central Turkey, largely in Nevşehir Province.

*** The name was traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history and is still widely used as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage. The term, as used in tourism, roughly corresponds to present-day Nevşehir Province. ***

Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya, Turkey. *** The waterfall, formed by the Düden River (one of the major rivers in southern Anatolia), is located 12 km north-east of Antalya; which ends, where the limpid waters of the Lower Düden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea in a dazzling show. ***
